Laura Miller
After growing up in the lovely small town of North Berwick in southern Maine, Laura moved to the MidCoast area 25 years ago. MidCoast Maine felt like home immediately, particularly St. George, where she happily resides in the village of Tenants Harbor with her family.
Laura, with her husband Jake, has four sons; three of whom are grown and graduated Oceanside Mariners, and one, their youngest, who is currently attending high school as a Windjammer at Camden Hills.
Laura was a stay-at-home mom to her boys before eventually venturing back out into the workforce. She recently joined the amazing team at Georges River Land Trust where she has been enjoying her role as Administrative Assistant for close to three years. She is thankful for the opportunity to spend each workday, and much time outside of work, immersed in Rockland's vibrant downtown community. Additionally, Laura proudly serves on the Trekkers Board of Directors.
Laura is excited to be involved with Funding our Future and looks forward to helping cultivate an essential and lasting impact in our beloved MidCoast communities that will serve this generation as well as those to come.
Laura enjoys kayaking, beach combing, reading, creating, gardening and adventures with her family and her darling pug, Olive.
